Alzheimer’s Associations
The Alzheimer’s Association’s Support Group is designed to provide emotional, educational, and social support for caregivers through regularly scheduled meetings. Eben Ezer provides the meeting room and lunch the 2nd Monday of each Month at 11:30 AM . This meeting is a place where participants can share feelings, hear from others in a similar situation, and get help with problem solving. This group is open to the community and is free of charge.
Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator for additional information at volunteer@ebenezer-cares.org or call 970-842-2861 X9245.
Resident Councils
As a part of the QAPI (Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement) process, Eben Ezer meets regularly with the neighbors and residents living on the Eben Ezer campus. QAPI takes a systematic, comprehensive, and data-driven approach to maintaining and improving safety and quality in nursing homes while involving all nursing home caregivers in practical and creative problem-solving.
A QAPI program should always include clinical care, quality of life, and resident choice. Resident Council is one avenue for ongoing and valid information gathering. Person-directed care emphasizes autonomy and choice in daily life, for residents.
All residents are invited to attend Resident Council, these meetings held monthly in each of the levels of care provided at Eben Ezer. Neighbors and residents can contact their Case Manager for additional information.
